Duverse was one of ten graduating start-ups as a part of the first cohort of the DIFC (Dubai International Financial Center) Metaverse Accelerator Programme that was launched in February 2023.

Only ten start-ups were selected out of 200+ applications from all around the world. Duverse was featured in the DIFC Metaverse Accelerator Programme`s demo day which was on the 4 ^th of September 2023 at the DIFC Innovation Hub. How VR revived an important piece of human history

“This I have actually seen, a work beyond words. For if anyone put together the buildings of the Greeks and display of their labors, they would seem lesser in both effort and expense to this labyrinth … Even the pyramids are beyond words, and each was equal to many mighty works of the Greeks. Yet, the labyrinth surpasses even the pyramids.”

This is how Herodotus described the Labyrinth of Egypt in Book II of his Histories.

The Labyrinth of Egypt (Also known as the Hawara Labyrinth) is an extremely important piece of human history, located beside the Hawara Pyramid in Faiyum Egypt.

The Mataha expedition led by the Belgian artist Louis de Cordier attempted in 2008 to locate it using ground penetrating radar. A professional team of geophysicists discovered the presence of a clear vast grid of walls underneath the stone plate. A large amount of underground scanning data was analyzed by the geophysicists of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics – Helwan, Cairo.

The study stated that: “At a depth of 8-12 meters, there is a grid structure of gigantic size made of very high resistivity material like granite stone. This states the presence of a colossal archeological feature below the labyrinth “foundation” zone of Petrie, which has to be reconsidered as the roof of the still-existing labyrinth.”

Two researchers named Narushige Shiode, and Wolfram Grajetzki from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University of College London developed a reconstructive Model of Hawara Labyrinth using VR (Virtual Reality) technologies to construct a series of low-end, 3D models that are navigable through the Web. This gives us the opportunity to visualize, explore and present ancient sites in their original form.

When you sign up to Threads it mentions that future versions of Threads will work with “The Fediverse”, a new type of social media network that allows people to follow and interact with each other on different platforms. And when you go to the Learn More link, it tells you about the fediverse including the vision of enabling users to communicate with people on other fediverse platforms that they do not own or control, and that “the servers on the fediverse are distributed and decentralized.”

In my opinion, Meta responded to the resistance to change towards a highly beneficial evolution of the internet (AKA its Metaverse project) in an extremely smart way, by building an onramp towards web3, getting traction with a familiar social media platform and then gradually shifting towards a distributed and decentralized ecosystem. The first step has proven an overwhelming success.

This is the same approach I have been calling the Web 3 community to follow since we started Duverse, and that is exactly what we are doing at Duverse with the exception that we cannot get 100M sign-ups in less than a week :), but we can still do a lot. In the face of this uncertainty, it is becoming increasingly clear that human creativity will be more important than ever before. As machines take over routine and repetitive tasks, human workers will need to focus on areas where they can add unique value - namely, in the realm of creativity.

But what is creativity, and how can it help us navigate this new age of automation and AI? At its core, creativity is the ability to generate new ideas, connections, and solutions that are not immediately obvious or predictable. And one of the key ingredients of creativity is chaos.

Chaos is the force that disrupts our routines, challenges our assumptions, and opens up new possibilities. It is the unexpected, the unpredictable, and the uncontrollable. Duverse was featured at the event “Advanced Digital Technologies for sustainable development goals”.

The event was held as part of the establishment of a regional hub for advanced digital technologies in Dubai, at the location of the Slovenian Pavilion, Expo City Dubai. The event took place in the co-organization of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, Spirit Slovenia, and the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, in cooperation with World Metaverse Council.

The Metavtwins is a physical representation of a virtual design usually designed on the Metaverse. The goal is to bring creative ideas and designs from the Metaverse to our physical world.

The new Metavtwins collection – Home innovations bring you creative wall art, wall claddings, and wallpaper.

After a long period of R&D on how to create #Metavtwins which is a physical representation of a virtual design or idea. Duverse finally launched its first “Metavtwin Collection – Home innovations."

We decided to start with the architecture and interior design industry. The idea is to export creativity from the Metaverse to the physical world and bring you a piece of the Metaverse to your home enriching your interior experience with a flow of new ideas and designs inspired by a creative space.

Some of the challenges included having creative yet not-so-exotic products, then manufacturing high-quality products and using the right material to reflect the level of innovation.

The Metavkitchens provides an easy, quick, and affordable process to get your concept up and running in less than 14 days.

Step1: The entrepreneur submits to Metavkitchens their concept, business plan, and marketing plan.

Step2: If approved by Metavkitchens, subscribe to the relevant package.

Step3: Fulfillment by Metavkitchens including the cooking and delivery.

The marketing plan has to show the commitment and ability of the entrepreneur to effectively carry out marketing activities for their concept including a detailed social media marketing plan. A good business plan would include unique selling points, concept differentiation, and a sophisticated marketing plan.

Creativity has no limit on the Metaverse. Let`s bring some of it to our designs. Creativity will be flowing from digital to physical.

While we are creating digital twins on the Metaverse as a digital representation of a physical product, process, or system. We might as well bring the creativity of the Metaverse to the physical products, processes, and systems. This could include designs and ideas, as well as testing operations and enhancing processes and systems on the Metaverse before we apply them physically.

Phygital is another word used to describe bringing the best parts of the physical customer experience into the digital realm and vice versa.

So, we have a word describing going from physical to digital which is digital twins. A word describing the interoperability between physical and digital which is Phygital. We might as well need a word to describe going from digital to physical. “Metavtwins” could be used to describe it.

“Metavtwins” is a term coined by Duverse.

Duverse exhibited at Gitex Dubai 2022. The largest global tech event was held from the 10 ^th to the 14 ^th of October 2022 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Duverse booth was at Hall 9 – C1 next to tech giants.

The 42 ^nd edition of Gitex Global is the event’s largest edition with 5000 exhibitors of which 1,400 were new, and 138,000+ visitors.

Duverse team showcased our latest projects on the Metaverse and offered complimentary Metaverse business strategy sessions. Visitors from 40+ countries enjoyed high-quality Duverse experiences and engaged in interactive Metaverse spaces designed and launched by Duverse.

During the event, Duverse signed an MOU with AlBrza global during Gitex Dubai 2022. AlBrza is a leading company with a focus on emerging technology domains by doing community-based engagements, developing and training the youth on using the 4IR, Cyber security, blockchain, and the associated technologies.

We are Duverse licensed in Dubai as a Metaverse service provider - license number 18017. These are our terms and conditions. They tell you what we do and how we do it.

By using our site, and/or purchasing one of our packages you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions, and the referenced policies, and that you agree to abide by them.

Duverse provides you with digital services including designing and setting up your Metaverse space. This Metaverse space could be a house, a shop, a showroom, a restaurant, a bakery …etc. Duverse provides the services in partnership with third-party service providers for the relevant scopes. Duverse provides digital services like payment gateway setup and integration, cloud kitchen integration, 3D walkthrough experiences, and VR experiences.

The client`s company has to be licensed and legally operating in the UAE, if your company is licensed outside the UAE, you need to get the relevant licenses, documents, and approvals before setting up your business and digital assets on the Metaverse through Duverse.

Limitations:

By using our site, and/or purchasing one of our packages you confirm that you understand and accept the following limitations:

The 3D walkthrough experience might not include a VR or AR experience and currently could only be experienced using Firefox, Chrome, or Edge on a desktop.
The fully immersive VR experience might not include an avatar experience, and currently, it does not include clickable links. The clickable links & avatar experiences are currently only available in the 3D walkthrough experience.
Please make sure to ask our team about the available options, and limitations of your order.

As the Metaverse technologies are rapidly improving and developing, we are always working on improving the user experience and updating our systems and clients with the new applicable technologies compatible with our platform. Yet in the meantime, there are some technical limitations including but not limited to the above-mentioned.

Duverse does not sell or trade in any kind of virtual assets or cryptocurrencies. The services of Duverse are all limited to the designs of the Metaverse spaces, the VR experience, and the integration of the relevant adjacent technologies including VR/AR/MR/XR/AI and machine learning.

Design changes & Maintenance:

Once your Metaverse space is designed and launched, there could not be any changes to the design. The only changes that could be done are for the “Artifacts” which are the clickable links in your Metaverse space. Duverse provides up to ten free changes to the clickable products, after that any changes will be charged. Duverse will provide a free maintenance period as per the relevant service package, and after that, there will be an annual maintenance fee of 1,850 USD. Duverse has the right to change the annual maintenance fee without prior approval from the client. Any changes in the maintenance fees will be notified to the client within two months’ notice prior to its effectivity date.

Your privacy is our priority. By proceeding to use the Duverse service, Users consent that Duverse may process the personal data that Duverse collects from them in accordance with the Duverse Privacy Policy and the terms of the UAE General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

Duverse may use your personal data to gather feedback regarding the experience you may have with our platform. This helps our business grow by assembling useful information from our end-users.

Duverse is not a party to any Service Contract between a third-party business & its clients. Any Service Contract between the third-party business & its clients shall be in accordance with such third party's privacy policy and the terms of the UAE General Data Protection Regulation.

Third-party, Tax & gas fees.

All the fees offered by Duverse are exclusive of third-party fees, tax, and gas fees. Gas fees (which are required by third parties to mint your NFTs & digital assets) change regularly and could be of significant value. The client must do their own research to know the gas fees prior to proceeding with one of Duverse`s packages which all exclude the gas fees.

Refund policy

Refunding is only available in case Duverse did not deliver the service provided. The refund is processed excluding third-party charges & gas fees. The refund is processed within 28 working days and has to be approved before being processed.

Project Duration, changes orders, custom packages & scope

The project duration is determined based on the brief and scope. A typical 50*50*50 project or less usually takes up to 14 days for the basic packages without any add-ons, if there were no changes. However, the project duration could be longer based on the number of changes and scope. The fully immersive VR experience requires longer durations, based on the scope of the project. Our service packages include two free design changes before submitting the space, any additional charges will be charged. Clients could request additional services which will be quoted based on the requirements.
